Would you like to be notified via WhatsApp every time a new participant registers for your events? Then you’re reading the right guide! With our Event Tickets Plus<\/a><\/strong> plugin, you can achieve this and much more. What you’ll need is Events Automator, a feature already included<\/strong> in the Event Tickets Plus and Events Calendar Pro plugins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Automator allows you to use Zapier to integrate The Events Calendar and Event Tickets with your favorite third-party apps and tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is done by creating a “Zap<\/a>” in Zapier. A zap is the simple “recipe” (instructions) that powers the automation of any of your workflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before reading further, make sure you have configured Event Automator in the Tickets > Settings > Integrations<\/strong> section as explained here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using Event Tickets as a Trigger<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this example, we’ll show you how to create a Zap that creates a new WhatsApp notification when a new ticket order is added to your WordPress site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. In Zapier,<\/a> click on the Zaps on the left side panel, then the + Create button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Important: <\/strong>Testing your trigger is a crucial step! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Successfully testing the trigger allows Zapier to \u201csee\u201d all the order fields available on your site.
            In other words, if Zapier can\u2019t see the fields on your site, your Zaps will not work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The order record selected from the trigger test should display a list of fields that can be mapped along with their values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Caution: <\/strong>Don’t be fooled by the fact that Zapier has found an order!
            Look carefully at the screen. If you are not seeing a list of fields or if the fields do not contain values, that record cannot be used to test the trigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
