With the new Coupons feature in Event Tickets, you can now create percentage-based or flat-rate discounts directly within Tickets Commerce. This flexible tool gives you full control over your promotional strategy\u2014making it easier to market your events, drive attendance, and deliver value to your audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-palette-8-background-color has-background\">\ud83d\udc4b Note: This article describes how to add coupons using our own Tickets Commerce. Use a name that helps you identify the promotion (e.g. \u201cEarly Bird Discount\u201d or \u201cVIP Offer\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coupon Code<\/strong><br>This is the code attendees will enter at checkout to receive the discount. While we generate a unique coupon code, you can customize this code to anything you&#8217;d like. Common examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><code>EARLYBIRD10<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><code>SUMMER25<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><code>FRIENDS2025<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Discount Type<\/strong><br>Choose how the discount is applied:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Percentage<\/strong> \u2013 Applies a percentage-based discount (e.g. 10% off the total order price).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flat Fee<\/strong> \u2013 Deducts a fixed dollar amount (e.g. $5 off each order).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amount<\/strong><br>Enter the discount value. This will correspond with the discount type you\u2019ve chosen\u2014either a percentage (e.g. 15% off) or a flat dollar amount (e.g. 5$ off).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Status<\/strong><br>Controls the availability of the coupon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Active<\/strong> \u2013 Coupon is live and can be used at checkout.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inactive<\/strong> \u2013 Coupon is disabled and cannot be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Draft<\/strong> \u2013 Coupon is saved but not yet available for use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coupon Limit<\/strong><br>Set the maximum number of times this coupon can be used across all customers.
