For installs made before version 5.6.0, first, you\u2019ll want to head over to <strong>Tickets &gt; Settings &gt; Emails<\/strong> and toggle on the option to Enable Tickets Emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:var(--global-palette8)\"><strong>Note: <\/strong>Enabling Tickets Emails will overwrite any manual customization that has been done to our previous email templates. Please be sure you update your customizations to the new system and enable the functionality when you&#8217;re ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the &#8220;Emails&#8221;, tab you will find a list of emails you can enable and configure separately. You can configure the email settings to change the way it looks and works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ticket Email:<\/strong> Enable or disable if you want the ticket email to be sent out once ticket(s) have been purchased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Subject:<\/strong> Change the subject for this particular email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Heading:<\/strong> Change the email heading for this particular email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Content:<\/strong> Add any additional content you&#8217;d like to include as part of these emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Calendar Links:<\/strong> This option is only available if you use The Events Calendar and Event Tickets. The system will adjust the font color of that section to match a contrast color to make the text readable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Footer content:<\/strong> In this setting, you should be able to insert any information you want. The text will be placed in the footer of the email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Footer credit:<\/strong> This setting will be present only if you\u2019re running a site with Event Tickets Plus, and it\u2019ll allow you to remove the \u201cPowered by Event Tickets\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are using only <strong>Event Tickets<\/strong> (without Event Tickets Plus) and want to remove the \u201cPowered by Event Tickets\u201d credit from the email footer, you will need to override the email template file in your theme at: <em>event-tickets\/src\/views\/tickets\/emails\/template-parts\/body\/footer\/credit.php<\/em>.
