This requires logging in to the PayPal Dashboard, locating the order, and refunding the customer there. Then, you&#8217;ll want to return to your WordPress site to manually return the ticket. We&#8217;ll walk you through the steps here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-refund-the-order-with-paypal\">Refund the order with PayPal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Start off by logging in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/signin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PayPal Dashboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once there, you&#8217;ll want to locate the ticket you&#8217;d like to refund. It&#8217;s important to note here that you&#8217;ll need to locate the PayPal transaction ID, and not the Order ID that is associated with the order in WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find this ID number by visiting <code>https:\/\/your-site.com\/tickets-order\/?tc-order-id={GATEWAY_ID_FROM_LIST<\/code>}.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.theeventscalendar.com\/kb\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-21-at-8.31.29-AM.png\" alt=\"PayPal Capture ID\" class=\"has-border-color has-kb-palette-0-border-color wp-image-1952548\" style=\"border-width:2px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you find this number, you can easily issue a refund directly from the PayPal Dashboard.
